A Laser probe is placed on the surface of the eye after giving local anaesthesia.Laser energy is delivered to the ciliary body – (part of eye that produces liquid in the eye ball).It is a painless procedure done on outpatient basis.

Cyclocryopexy is an alternative treatment.
